Update - Please be aware that our Infrastructure as a Service platform has now been updated as well as any critical systems to mitigate the Meltdown and Spectre exploits. Our Desktop as a Service environment will follow once successful testing has been completed. We expect this to be resolved tentatively within the next three days.

At this point customer managed servers will need to have the appropriate patches applied to operating systems. Systems administrators will need to refer to vendor documentation for their specific cases. Please see below for general OS guides.

Identified - Please be aware that our systems and services are being patched in response to the Meltdown and Spectre exploits.

Under our current schedule we will be patching systems we believe will have no service interruption. These exploits may take some time to fully mitigate, so there is no confirmed ETA on completion but we expect the process to take up to 48 hours until further information arises.

Once this maintenance is complete customers with self-managed VMs will need to update guest Windows and Linux operating systems as per their vendor specifications. All Hosted Network managed servers will be patched by our support team ASAP.

We will be performing general maintenance on our VoIP platform.

During this maintenance windows, our VoIP services will experience up to 2 x 5 minute outage during this window while we reboot soft switches within the environment. Any active sessions will be disconnected and no new sessions will be able to be established during this time, following the completion of our maintenance SIP sessions will re-register however in the event connections do not re-establish we ask that your reboot your equipment prior to logging a support request.

Maintenance will only impact Web User Interface (management) for up to 1 x 1 minute outage during this window.

Please be advised that our backup data centre provider will be performing emergency remediation works to mitigate the power issues experienced early this morning.

The provider intends to synchronise multiple UPS units and bring them online tomorrow morning between 1am and 6am AEDT. (February 14th 2018).

No further impact is expected, but due to the elevated risk of the works, the remediation work has been moved outside of business hours.

Routine Transit Redundancy Testing May 24, 00:00-01:00 AEST
Please be aware that we will be performing a routine transit redundancy test to ensure that our fail over mechanisms are working correctly in the event of an upstream outage.

Customers accessing services from outside our network may experience brief latency and connectivity loss for between 2-15 seconds up to 5 times during this window. All internal connectivity and services will not be affected however customers may experience brief internet connectivity loss for the same period.
